Collin started taking tennis lessons yesterday. They’re being offered by the Marion Parks & Recreation Dept. He had fun his first day, especially since his friends Nicholas and Zack were there. They practiced forehand ground strokes, and Collin hit the ball very well, especially for a kid that had never picked up a tennis racket before. They played a game called “Dungeon” where you had 2 chances to hit the ball over the net in bounds or you got sent to the other side of the net (the “dungeon”). The only way to get back in the game was to catch a ball someone else hit on one bounce. Collin won the first game.
